We are thrilled to host the Dexter Summer Festival again this year! We’re confident it will be bigger and better than ever, and we need the community’s help to make it happen.
We’re looking for adult volunteers (18+) to assist at the Dexter Area Chamber of Commerce information booths. There will be three booths located in Monument Park, the Action Zone, and the new Broad Street Social District. We are looking for people both Friday and Saturday, time slots will be 5 hours.
While details are still being finalized, volunteer responsibilities may include:
• Answering festival-related questions
• Selling merchandise
• Greeting volunteers (Youth groups) and directing them to activity stations
• Serving coffee and doughnuts to vendors
A pre-festival meeting will be held for all volunteers to go over important details.
As a token of appreciation, volunteers will receive a Dexter Summer Festival Volunteer T-shirt and an invitation to the catered pre-party on Thursday, August 7th.
